About us

Fire Angels is an initiative of WHAM that works across India. A Team of youth encouraging mankind for awareness of Fire Safe India through education, health care programs, youth interventions, employment and skill development. Fire Angels India pledge to create the 2nd line of defense to the fire Brigade and help them fight fire. We encourage every person to participate in the noble cause of our broader community standing for the goal of making India fire safe.

WHAM also realized this reality and places paramount importance to the well-being of a ‘Mother and her Child’, as Mothers are the backbone of any family, who influences the child most. Her empowerment is bound to have cascading impact not only the family but the society at large. Hence, they are at the forefront of WHAM’s mission in urban slums, rural and backward areas of Delhi & National Capital Region (NCR). It is their Hearts and Minds that we are determined to inspire and uplift.

Our Mission

In Greek mythology, angels signify as the representative of God, and are associated with protection, warmth and security. Our Fire Angels Project would stand for the same, to serve mankind by creating awareness on fire safety and educating them. Engaging proactive community members as FireAngels to spread awareness through campaigns to safeguard their communities and surroundings from fire hazards.
