Second Line of Defense

Fire Services department's fire officers & men are the most important soldiers, who utter disregard to their personal safety & security, are always committed to help all the citizens, when all others would often abandon their own place in case of fire emergencies.

It is astonishing that currently there are no active NGOs engaged in the Fire Safety. In order to help, support & add to your selfless service to the society, WHAM has pledged to support with your Prestigious Fire Brigade to make India Fire Safe & develop a support line of defense for the Fire Brigades across the country. WHAM is Seven years old NGO driven by Ms. Suchitra Chhillar W/O Brigadier Ram Chhillar, Bar to Sena Medal, Vishisht Sewa Medal (Retd), along with other prominent members working towards social development and social safety.

WHAM through the project "Fire Angels India" will create the first line of defense to support. It will pioneer to marathon run “FIRE SAFE INDIA” to create awareness across the entire country & will endeavour the people to undertake a pledge to make India Fire Safe. These Fire Angels will also be trained to help fire victims with first aid during emergencies, promote in need for Fire Safety Equipment, to establish connect with Fire victims & help in their skill development & subsequent employment.
